Jetta (捷达) was launched in 2019 as a standalone brand by FAW-Volkswagen, designed to give China's price-sensitive market access to VW engineering at a lower cost. Lineup includes VS5, VS7 SUVs and VA3 sedan. Vehicles use VW's EA211 1.4T 150 hp engines paired with 6AT — exactly the same powertrain as previous-generation VW Polo / Tiguan.
