Haval Chitu (哈弗赤兔, “Red Hare” — named after the warhorse from Romance of the Three Kingdoms) is a coupe-style B+-class crossover, presented by Great Wall in May 2021. Dimensions 4470×1898×1625 mm and a 2700 mm wheelbase make it visually wider and lower than Jolion at the same length. Suspension is fully independent (McPherson + multi-link), front-wheel drive.
A 2023 facelift replaced the old GW4B15A with a new GW4G15B in two states of tune: **low power 150 hp / 218 N·m** (先锋型 and 卓越型 trims) and high 184 hp / 275 N·m (尖兵型 and 王者型). A 1.5L DHT hybrid with 140 kW system power was also added. **For import to Russia via Hunchun under the ≤160 hp utilization-fee rule, only the two 150 hp low-power trims are eligible** — all others fall under the higher utilization fee.
2023 model-year prices: 先锋型 — ¥82,800 (~830,000 ₽), 进取型 — ¥88,800 (~890,000 ₽), 卓越型 — ¥93,800 (~940,000 ₽). The base 先锋型 has LED headlights, a 10.25" screen, 6 airbags, ESP, cruise control and keyless entry. 卓越型 adds a 12.3" screen, digital cluster, 360° camera, panoramic roof, heated steering wheel and BSD.
In the Haval lineup, Chitu fills the gap between Jolion and the discontinued F7: the same coupe profile as F7, but importable under the standard utilization-fee tier. Per rumors, the model may be renamed Haval H2 in 2026 — worth tracking before bulk procurement.
