Haval M6 PLUS is a budget urban crossover on the first-generation Haval H6 platform (H6 Classic), produced in Baoding since 2021. Dimensions 4664×1830×1729 mm, wheelbase 2680 mm — the car is longer than Jolion while being ¥15,000–20,000 cheaper. The 1.5T GW4G15B engine produces 150 hp and 218 N·m, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed wet-clutch DCT. Front-wheel drive.
The 2023 lineup has 7 trims in the ¥71,900–92,900 range (after the base early variants were discontinued). The base 手动精英型 (MT Elite) includes ESP, ABS, front airbags, a 10.25" central screen, A/C, power windows and ISOFIX. The top DCT 豪华智联型 adds a 360° camera, HUD, digital cluster, cruise control, keyless entry, sunroof and heated front seats. A standout feature is the 808 L cargo — best among budget Chinese B+ crossovers.
In 2024 Great Wall discontinued all manual versions, leaving only 7DCT variants. For Russian export M6 PLUS is a clear mass-market product: the 150 hp engine fits the discounted ≤160 hp utilization fee, the Haval network (including the Tula plant) ensures parts availability, and the price makes it a top candidate for new and recent used imports under a tight budget.
Direct competitors are Changan CS35 Plus, Chery Tiggo 4 and base Geely Coolray. M6 PLUS beats them on cargo and cabin volume but loses on infotainment quality and noise insulation.
